Mobile Phone with Quad-Core Chipset, Edge HTC
HTC is reportedly preparing a new weapon called the HTC Edge. Smartphone that HTC is currently being prepared, said to be the world's first smartphone to use Tegra processor-3 with quad-core machine.
According to sources at Pocketnow, who claims to have an image that has been leaked, mentioned if HTC's latest smartphone will come with a speed of 1.5 GHz. (In addition to quad-core processors), HTC Edge also reported to have a 4.7 inch HD display, 1GB of RAM, and an 8 MP camera with LED Flash.
For the operating system, HTC Edge is estimated to be running Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. Unfortunately, these new phones will be present in the first quarter or maybe the second quarter of 2012. This is not surprising, quad-core processors have not been used for mobile devices (for now).
