Amazon has just give a little surprise by launching a free service Cloud Player that allows for us to listen to streaming music from Cloud to a computer or device Android.
This may be a service that many users preferred but will make another music industry like Sony for example.
But the Amazon gave a statement that "Cloud Player is an application that allows customers to manage and play their own music was like a number of existing media management applications. We do not need a license to make Cloud Player available. The functionality of MP3 storage to Cloud Drive is the same as if users store their music to an external hard drive or even iTunes. "
Of course, the bigger story here is that the Amazon Cloud Player will face a head-to-head with the music streaming service Sony Music Unlimited which emerged last month. Understandably, Sony is not going to let Amazon through the bureaucracy here without a fight and it also can affect the same music locker services like mSpot andMP3Tunes, although on a smaller scale.
In fact, Sony has expressed discomfort with the operating mode of certain companies,so that we might see a feud between them. And the presence of the Amazon service is enough to shake the music industry.
