By the launch of the BlackBerry Playbook, most of users are wondering how the IT policy (IT Policies) imposed on the BlackBerry device Playbook later?
And how the BES Admin can control the tablet device? RIM recently launched the IT Policy to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 4.0 & 5.0 and applies to Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and Novell GroupWise. Currently there are no release notes on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express (BESX). We believe that in the future there will be a new policy on this matter but BESX is now designed to be an IT Policy for BES scale.
This is very good news at least for now. On the way I talk to corporate customers over the last few weeks they seem to be not much to say except "wait-and-see 'for Playbook because RIM has not been very forthcoming with their plans IT policy controls. And we must remember that at the time of its launch later, the Playbook will not have a PIN and therefore we have to wait until RIM issued a new policy toward these tablet devices.
